About ReSCORE

ReScore – Re-imagining the Score in European Grassroots Football is an Erasmus+ Sport project that promotes sustainability and circular economy principles in grassroots football clubs across Europe. The project aims to enhance the environmental, social, and economic sustainability of community football by educating athletes, coaches, managers, and local stakeholders about circular practices and sustainable resource use. Through the development and testing of an innovative Circular Value Model for Football Clubs (CircuLite), ReScore supports grassroots organisations in transforming their practices and strengthening their role as sustainable community hubs.

The project focuses on:

Raising awareness of environmental responsibility and circular economy practices among football clubs, athletes, and community stakeholders.
Designing a new framework that helps grassroots clubs integrate circular economy principles into their operations and decision-making.
Providing educational programmes and activities for coaches, youth athletes, and club managers to develop sustainability skills and leadership.
Connecting football associations, research institutions, and communities to share best practices and strengthen sustainability initiatives in sport.
