About This Course
This course explores how organisations manage information security as a strategic and business-critical function. It brings together risk management, governance, regulatory compliance and organisational culture to show how information assets can be protected in a structured and sustainable way. Students gain hands-on exposure to internationally recognised frameworks and standards, learn how to identify and assess cyber risks, and develop practical skills in selecting and justifying security controls. Alongside the technical foundations, the course emphasises leadership, decision-making and professional development, preparing students to engage confidently with senior management and to build careers in information security and cybersecurity management in an international context.
